How do I acquire 3CRV tokens?

What is the 3CRV Token?

3CRV is a token that represents your deposit in the 3CRV stablecoin strategy in the Curve Finance protocol.

Zapper.fi Guide

Follow these steps to acquire the 3CRV token. This guide uses Zapper.fi and Metamask.

1. Navigate to Zapper.fi, connect your wallet and login.

2. Select "Pool", find the 3CRV Pool and deposit your funds.

3. Acquire equal parts DAI, USDC and USDT. Zapper.fi can automate this for you.

4. Receive 3CRV tokens.

5. Navigate to Force DAO dashboard.

6. Authorize Deposit, Deposit 3CRV, receive x3CRV, Authorize Stake, and finally Stake x3CRV tokens.

When you have the amount of tokens you wish to place into the 3CRV pool, navigate to Zapper.fi to enter the pool.

2. Select "Pool", find the 3CRV Pool and deposit your funds

In the Zapper.fi app connect your wallet. Find and click on "Pools". If you do not see your pool, use the search bar and enter 3CRV. After selecting the 3CRV pool, enter the funds you wish to provide to the pool. Click "Confirm" to finalize.

3. Acquire equal parts DAI, USDC and USDT

You need to provide tokens in a 1:1:1 ratio to the 3CRV pool. Zapper.fi can automate this using other funds such as ETH.

4. Receive 3CRV tokens

Your wallet should now have the 3CRV that represent your current position in the pool.

5. Navigate to Force DAO dashboard

Navigate to Force dashboard and select the 3CRV vault strategy.

6. Authorize Deposit, Deposit 3CRV, receive x3CRV, Authorize Stake, and finally Stake x3CRV tokens

Now that you are ready to place your 3CRV into the vault, there are a few steps to finalize your position. Each token in your wallet must first be authorized to be deposited into the vault, followed by depositing. After the token is deposited into the vault, once again authorization is needed to stake these tokens. When authorization is completed, the last step is stake your x3CRV and begin earning yield!

Curve.fi Guide

Follow these steps to acquire the 3CRV token. This guide uses curve.fi and Metamask. You can get 3CRV at Curve.fi

1. Navigate to curve.fi, connect your wallet and login.

2. Select "Pool", find the 3 Pool and deposit your funds.

3. You can deposit equal parts of DAI, USDC, USDT or Curve can automate this for you if you just wish to deposit a sole asset.

4. Select Deposit - note do not select Deposit & Stake, as you will be staking on forcedao.com not Curve.fi

5. Receive 3CRV LP tokens.

6. Navigate to Force DAO dashboard.

7. Authorize Deposit, Deposit 3CRV, receive x3CRV, Authorize Stake, and finally Stake x3CRV tokens.

Select the 3pool option, and on the next screen select deposit in the website header.
