# 🏛Overview

Force DAO utilizes **Aragon’s Company** [template](https://github.com/aragon/dao-templates/tree/master/templates/company) and is intended to be used as the basis for a token holder governed organization.

However, given the high gas costs associated with sustaining governance on-chain, voting will take place on our **Snapshot** page for the time being. This aligns with our immediate short-term objective of allowing any one member to create a proposal, and for that proposal to be enacted upon launch.

## Force Improvement Proposals (FIPs)

As mentioned, FORCE token holders drive the direction and vision of Force DAO. To ensure democratic decisions proceed any actions taken by the DAO, members are able to propose and vote on the following subjects:

* **Operations**
* **Treasury**
* **Emissions**
* **Force Prize Winners**
